The Swedish blog search engine Twingly rates the "top" 100 blogs in assorted European languages. The top three blogs irrespective of language are TechCrunch, BoingBoing and Gizmodo. Knowbodies was evidently not part of the survey.
p.s. - I'm thrilled to pieces when someone takes time to comment at Knowbodies, and worry that others might miss the comments because they're so hungrily devouring the posts (the cliché of crazed shoppers stampeding through the just-opened doors of a department store unavoidably comes to mind). So, when comments are of general interest, I might paste them into the post, like this: (thank you, Johnny S)
i use the service ://URLFAN which to me is more transparent in regards to "ranking websites". Their top 100 is pretty well respected in the web 2.0 world:
http://www.urlfan.com/site/top_100/100.html
urlfan ranks sites according to their popularity in the blogosphere and shows all their data. It's a little more clear than both technorati and twingly when it comes to ranking websites, since thats what they focus on, and any blogger can lookup their website and see how they rank.
